We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Bold Valuable Tech, Sa. As a Senior Battery Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of our battery systems using the latest state-of-the-art CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities- Generate battery design concepts based on specifications to achieve performance targets.
- Design and develop mechanical assemblies and structures using 3D Experience – Catia v6.
- Supervise other design team members and collaborate with electrical, structural, and thermal simulation groups.
- Apply your understanding of materials and processes used in high-end applications to develop components.
- Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure projects are carried out as expected from a cost and timing perspective.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- R&D design experience with 3+ years in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of 3D Experience – Catia v6.
- Demonstrable understanding of electrical and battery design requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of composite manufacturing processes.
- Private Health insurance (company level plan).
