About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Process Owner to join our team at Allianz Popular SL. As a key member of our Accounting, Tax & Treasury department, you will be responsible for managing global key accounting processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global accounting processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all locations
- Conduct financial process optimization to improve standardization and roll-out of global accounting processes
- Monitor and improve accounting procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Provide training and support to regional accounting officers and their teams on key accounting processes
- Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of accounting processes and controllership mechanisms
- Assist with and oversee the monthly closing process, review of financial statements under IFRS in close collaboration with stakeholders
- Act as a contact person for internal and external stakeholders, including Allianz Technology business and Allianz operating entities
Requirements
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and solutions, with a strong track record of working successfully in a challenging environment as a team player
- Excellent management skills, with a focus on accountability and high standards
- SAP knowledge (SD / FI / MM)
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
- University degree in finance, business administration, or economics
- Accounting, economic, and industry knowledge, as well as relevant legal and regulatory knowledge, e.g., local GAAP / IFRS
