Commissioning Engineer for Battery Storage and Microgrid Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our Grid Automation Business Unit at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for executing site activities for Battery Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, ensuring seamless commissioning and power-on processes.
Your Responsibilities:- Execute site activities for BESS and Microgrid projects, including installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules and regulations, adhering to Country and Company norms.
- Proactively implement improvements in the commissioning process, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proven experience with power systems commissioning, including BESS projects and Solar plants.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning electrical LV-MV panels, Inverters, batteries, switchgears.
- Good experience with PLC automation commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Flexibility to travel worldwide.
