About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Costing Accountant to join our team in Toronto. As a Costing Accountant, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of cost accounting and accounting information systems to prepare all necessary documentation to file an SR&ED claim on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities
* Utilize knowledge of cost accounting and accounting information systems to prepare all necessary documentation to file an SR&ED claim on behalf of our clients
* Examine products and operations to determine which qualify for income tax incentives, the appropriate methodology to cost those activities and the methods to maximize those incentives
* Assist with research and correspondence with the tax authorities to address any review issues

Qualifications
* CA, CMA or CGA designation (or currently working toward designation)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Strong client focus and orientation towards achievement
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects
* Working knowledge ofTaxprep and the SR&ED tax program an asset
* Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
