Character Modeler Job Description

Atlantis Animation is seeking talented Character Modelers to create 3D character models that bring our stories to life on screen.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D character models based on concept art and design.
  • Collaborate closely with rigging, texturing, and animation teams to ensure smooth integration into the production pipeline.
  • Ensure that models meet the artistic and technical constraints of the project.
  • Optimize models for production pipelines.
  • Make corrections and adjustments based on feedback from art supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Maya, ZBrush).
  • Adaptability to the model style of the project.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, proportions, and an excellent eye for detail.
  • Team player, open to feedback, and able to work within deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Experience:

  • Junior: Some experience or a strong portfolio in character modeling.
  • Mid-level: At least 2-3 years of experience in character modeling.
  • Senior: 5+ years of experience in character modeling in an animation or video game studio.

Salary: Based on experience.
