Senior Commercial Lawyer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team in Burgos, Spain. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide critical support and advice on various commercial matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Providing expert legal advice and support to various departments, including sales, procurement, human resources, finance, and marketing.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, such as supply agreements, distribution contracts, and procurement contracts.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, providing practical counseling to businesses in all areas of commercial transactions.
• Assisting in managing legal disputes and litigation matters, including liaising with external counsel and advising on strategy.
• Developing and implementing corporate policies and procedures, supporting M&A and other corporate transactions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Law degree (University / State examination or equivalent), admission to practice law in Spain is a plus.
• 3 years of transactional experience, preferably in the automotive / manufacturing industry or in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions and Spanish labor / employment law, strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• A team player with a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English, additional languages are a plus.
