About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Secondary School Teacher to join our dynamic team at Hamelin-Laie International School Barcelona, part of the Nord Anglia Education group. Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an inspiring and effective education in relevant curriculum areas, including IB MYP and DP, as well as A Level and AP courses. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Planning and leading lessons that reflect department Unit Planners and all relevant IB criteria;
- Assessing student progress and providing regular verbal and written feedback on learning;
- Maintaining records of student attainment using official platforms and methodology;
- Participating in curriculum-based field trips and co-curricular activities;
- Preparing students for external examinations and providing advice on option choices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, as well as experience of working with IB curricula. You should also possess a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject and evidence of personal commitment to continuing professional development.
A demonstrated passion and detailed knowledge of subject areas, along with experience of working in an international setting, is highly desirable.

Salary:
We estimate the salary for this position to be approximately 40,000 - 55,000 euros per annum, depending on experience.
