Senior C++ Software Developer for High-Performance Camera Systems

Photonfocus, a leading manufacturer of high-quality CMOS image sensors and industrial cameras, is seeking a skilled Senior C++ Software Developer to join its development team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in C and C++ programming, with a strong focus on concurrency and synchronization mechanisms. They will also have proven experience in GUI programming using Qt, MFC, or similar frameworks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing desktop applications to display and postprocess images, working with Visual Studio and Qt, and participating in the design of the software architecture. They will also be expected to support the maintenance of the company's continuous integration system and code example applications in C++, C#, or Python.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for implementing GUI components, applications, and SDKs for the company's camera platforms under Windows and Linux. They will also be expected to improve the performance of existing kernel modules, including NDIS filter drivers and Linux net hooks.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. They will also have a good knowledge of the English language and be able to work collaboratively within an international development team.
We require the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in C and C++ programming
- Strong knowledge of concurrency and synchronization mechanisms
- Proven experience in GUI programming using Qt, MFC, or similar frameworks
- Experience with CMake, Conan, Jenkins Pipelines, and Docker
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Ability to work collaboratively within an international development team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience with network protocols, image processing, unit testing, and scripting languages such as Python.
