Job Summary
Bunge is seeking a Trader Assistant - Galicia to join our team. As a key member of our Sales Department, you will be responsible for standardizing plant requirements, creating a database of customer logistics, and negotiating freight costs with customers.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a well-experienced team with a versatility mindset and full alignment with the Sales Department.
- Standardize all plant requirements for loading and create a database of customer logistics requirements.
- Negotiate freight costs with customers in coordination with the Sales Manager to ensure a minimum of 3 competitive freight offers for our customer portfolio.
- Centralize all call-offs and complaints from the 3 plants to be responsible for (Barcelona, Cartagena, and Bilbao).
- Accommodate call-offs per each plant according to the refineries' planning.
- Forecast monthly needs aligned to the refinery utilization and sales program forecast.
- Manage customer pricing and contracts, ensuring the execution of contracts and monitoring backlogs and financing charges.
- Follow up on receivables to maintain a healthy working capital and implement financial tools to improve KPIs (ROIG).
- Develop a positive attitude towards continuous improvement and learning.
- Stay knowledgeable about current systems to automate flows and gain the best information through the existing ERP (SAP).
Requirements
- +/- 5 years of working experience.
- University degree in business or a related field.
- Skilled in decision-making and negotiation.
- Fluent Spanish and English, with other languages (French and Catalan) being a plus.
- Customer focus, teamwork, entrepreneurship, results orientation, independence, ability to take decisions, and influence others.
