The Role
We are seeking a highly professional Power Systems Engineer to join our GMS team, responsible for designing, integrating, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems for electric utilities.
Your Impact
- Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements.
- Communicate detailed requirements to internal departments as needed.
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements and communicate project plans.
- Perform customer training and consult on generation systems to ensure effective use and maintenance.
- Assist in creating project and product documentation as needed.
- Perform unit testing and tuning to ensure power system applications meet customer and industry requirements.
- Support live customer systems using knowledge of power systems and OSI application functionality.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry standards and trends.
What You'll Need
- BS (required) or MS (preferred) degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems courses.
- Ability to work with large data sets, scripts, and high-level C/C++ code.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Superior organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
