About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Platform Engineer to join our team at Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd. As an AI Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in the implementation and continuous improvement of our Gen AI platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy large-scale machine learning models and solutions using Python and other relevant programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-powered solutions into our business operations.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model serving, and monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in machine learning, large language models, and Generative AI, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our platform.
  • Work closely with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions that drive business value.
  • Contribute to the development of our AI engineering practices, including the creation of reusable services, APIs, and tools.
  • Collaborate with our cloud and data teams to ensure seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an ML / AI platform engineer.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, large language models, and MLOps.
  • Strong programmer with a good understanding of building and deploying solutions.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python.
  • Expertise in MLOps, Cloud & Data Technologies – ideally Azure and AWS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
