We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team at Welocalize. As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, creating, and answering questions related to causality within various narratives and scenarios.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Causal Reasoning Prompts: Generate prompts and responses that delve into causal reasoning, focusing on the relationships and dependencies within given scenarios.
- Develop Guidelines for Causal Reasoning: Create guidelines for crafting prompts that explore causality, probing cause-and-effect relationships and relevant connections within narratives.
- Answer Questions about Causality: Create and answer questions about causality in narratives, ensuring a deep understanding of how different elements interact and influence each other.
- Design Detailed Prompts for Scenarios: Design detailed prompts for various scenarios, investigating causes, effects, and relationships, and exploring how changes in one element can impact the overall narrative.
- Education and Experience: Master's degree (+ 3 years of experience) or PhD in one of the following fields: Cognitive Science, Psychology, Philosophy (with a focus on Classical Logics), Linguistics (with a focus on Computational Linguistics, Pragmatics or Semantics), or NLP research.
- Language Skills: C2 Spanish (Spain) with B1 in English.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex relationships, particularly those involving causality, counterfactuals, and covariation. Demonstrable experience in causal, counterfactual, or covariational reasoning, evidenced through previous work, research, or academic projects/papers.
