About the Role
The Community Data and Science team at Engineeringuk is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Applied Scientist to help build Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for Community Feedback. As a key member of our team, you will work on state-of-the-art technologies that result in published papers and have the opportunity to implement algorithms and see their performance in the field.
About the Team
The Community Data and Science team focuses on analyzing, understanding, structuring, and presenting customer-generated content to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. We build and own ML models that help with shaping the community content corpus, extracting insights, and presenting content and insights to shoppers. Today, our ML models support experiences like content solicitation, submission, moderation, ranking, and summarization.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will work on a variety of projects, including state-of-the-art generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, alignment, prompt engineering, and benchmarking solutions. You will also mentor junior scientists on the team and have the opportunity to innovate on behalf of our customers. Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications, a PhD or Master's degree, and experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
