About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at the Sibelco Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical project management of small CAPEX projects, utilizing internationally standardized methods and internally developed best practices to ensure safe, sustainable, cost-effective, efficient, and quality-proof mineral processing facilities and other auxiliary facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Prepare, monitor, and update cost and time estimation, coordinate all project activities, and delegate tasks to dedicated functions.
  • Risk Management: Be accountable for project risk management to ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, prioritized, and mitigated.
  • Project Reporting: Provide monthly project status reports using endorsed tools and templates to alert management of any deviation from the approved project scope.
  • Team Management: Plan human resource needs for assigned CAPEX projects, lead, coordinate, and motivate the project team members in the project work throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage internal and external stakeholder relations and expectations.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with Sibelco regulations and other requirements and constraints, defined during the project lifecycle phases.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and ensure the achievement of expected performances.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share project management best practices with other Sibelco functions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Act as a continuous improvement promoter in any activity in the cluster.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in technical project management and a basic understanding of mechanical, technical, and instrumental engineering. The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of the industrial mineral industry and be fluent in English with strong communication skills.
