Construction Project Manager: Substations, Emea Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S. L. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of high-voltage substations and electrical infrastructure projects in Spain.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Collaborate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet electrical utility requirements.
- Lead negotiations with contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Develop construction project scope and request for proposals.
- Conduct construction submittal reviews and ensure quality control.
- Lead teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis associated with equipment or electrical failures.
- Negotiate easements/wayleaves with land owners, utilities, etc.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs through creative solutions that maintain quality and reliability, such as new designs, technologies, or construction methods.
