The Airbus Defence and Space organization is responsible for providing and supporting training activities to our customers linked to the Eurofighter programme.
The jobholder is responsible for performing the following tasks:
Instruction:- Responsible for the Academic Instruction during the Phase I of the Eurofighter Flying Courses, providing the necessary training when requested by the SAF.
- Responsible for the Simulator Instruction during the Phase I of the Eurofighter Flying Courses, providing the necessary training when requested by the SAF, including a briefing, the training session and the debriefing.
- Responsible for the Academic Instruction during the Phase II of the Eurofighter Flying Courses, providing the necessary training when requested by the SAF.
- Responsible for the Simulator Instruction during the Phase II of the Eurofighter Flying Courses, providing the necessary training when requested by the SAF, including a briefing, the training session and the debriefing.
- Fly the networked simulation training sessions playing the role of Flight / Section Lead for the Pilots when requested.
- Provide to the SAF the appropriate training for Instrumental Flights, Emergencies Management missions and general Eurofighter Aircraft Knowledge, including both theoretical and practical instruction in the simulator.
- Provide the requisites definition for the new databases to the database specialists.
- Lead the Training Scenario creation process.
- Create/modify and test the training Scenarios within the appropriate scenario generation and testing tool and the training devices.
- Set-Up the scenario for the training sessions.
- Operate the simulator training mission using the Instructor and Operator Stations functionalities as needed to fulfill the requirements of the mission.
- Role play for ATC and GCI activities required during training missions, as well as other players mission related.
- Debriefing sessions set up.
- Device testing support during installation, integration and acceptance of simulator modifications.
- Study possible improvements and generate new requisites for the simulation system.
- Create and maintain a record of the pilot operational requirements.
- Support the Airbus Defence and Space and Spanish Eurofighter Programme Office when required with Subject Matter Expertise.
The job holder shall have a military aviation background with knowledge of Air Combat and Air to Ground tactics and maneuvers in Fighter Squadrons, including acceptable airmanship skills. Eurofighter flying experience is highly recommended.
The jobholder will be based in Moron Air Force Base.
