Job Description:

As a Core Network Solutions Architect at Talent Search People, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing enterprise-class core network architectures. Your expertise will be essential in conducting core network assessments, defining and maintaining architecture solutions, and overseeing the build, delivery, and run of required infrastructure architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-class core network architectures.
  • Conduct core network assessments and define architecture solutions.
  • Oversee the build, delivery, and run of required infrastructure architecture.
  • Provide technical conscience and define the right solution to meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs.
  • Ensure technology standards and corporate policies are followed and evolve over time.
  • Provide core network architecture Quality Assurance reviews and ensure compliance with architecture standards globally.
  • Support technology solutioning and estimating in proposals for change, planning, and pricing.
  • Conduct core network architecture assessments and define future solutions and roadmaps.
  • Liaise with Global Information Security as required.
  • Develop and maintain core network standards in partnership with Operations and Application Development.
  • Provide support during critical incidents related to core network capabilities under ownership.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience as a Core Network Architect and/or Engineer.
  • 3 years' experience architecting core network solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of WAN and SD-WAN Technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of LAN and WiFi solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Configuration and Network as Code concepts.
  • Strong working knowledge of security and hardening concepts.
  • Advanced virtualization technologies knowledge.
  • Advanced network services knowledge: DHCP, DNS, NTP.
  • Knowledge in Authentication, Directory Services, LDAP, and IAM: Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Certificate Services, Single Sign-On, AWS IAM, SAML, OAuth.
  • Advanced core network management, logging, and monitoring tools knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery services strategies.
  • Experience in cloud connectivity, transit gateways.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated.

Desirable:

  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF and Zachmann.
  • Relevant Professional certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional Wireless (CCNP Wireless) or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP); CCIE (Routing and Switching) or CCNP (Routing and Switching); CCIE (Routing).

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
