Freight Cost Manager

At Bayer, we are seeking a highly skilled Freight Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Warehouse Team (GWT), you will play a critical role in managing our freight costs and supporting materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage freight costs and invoices, ensuring accurate tracking and approval in Ariba.
- Develop and maintain internal outward freight (IOF) costs management processes, aligning with 4PLs to achieve monthly targets.
- Forecast and budget IOF costs, collaborating with finance and stakeholders to drive budget discussions.
- Manage airfreight costs, developing budget projection models and communicating with GSM on a monthly basis.
- Steer the ordering process of thermal equipment, developing process improvements with GWT, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Master's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with a focus on operations.
- Experience in finance is a plus.
