We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and maintenance of instrumentation and prototypes for IVD test automation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the quality of instrumentation and prototypes through regular inspection and testing.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to service and maintain instrument prototypes and subsequent evaluation and commercial versions.
- Conduct technical evaluations and testing of new instruments for IVD test automation, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvement.
- Support the reagent development team by providing expertise on instrument usage, anomaly management, and correction implementation.
- Monitor and report on instrument performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in training and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Address instrument-related issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in instrumentation and technical support.
- Strong technical understanding of repair, maintenance, and process optimization of instruments for medical devices.
- Experience with automation and testing processes for IVD instruments.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
