Electrotechnics Specialist

About the Role:

You will be working in an agile and international environment, where you will have the opportunity to define the test strategy for products and set up a plan accordingly. Your ability to understand standards and perform tests accordingly will be essential in this role.

As a Lab Coordinator & Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and reporting the status of test activities. You will also be performing and analyzing tests for products like switches for household and similar fixed electrical installations, fixed or portable socket outlets.

In addition, you will be actively driving the further development of the lab, proposing new measurement & test equipment or optimizing processes. You will also be developing internal test methods to test special customer requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and reporting the status of test activities
• Performing and analyzing tests for products like switches for household and similar fixed electrical installations, fixed or portable socket outlets
• Actively driving the further development of the lab, proposing new measurement & test equipment or optimizing processes
• Developing internal test methods to test special customer requirements
• Supporting audit activities according to EN standards

About You:

We are looking for a Bachelor in Electrotechnics; ideally, you are experienced in handling electrical installations. You should have knowledge about EN standards, general knowledge about measurement methods, and a good level of English. You should also be a team player with very good communication skills and time management skills.
