Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Quanta Part Of Qcs Staffing. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing projects within the agreed scope, planning, and budget. Your expertise in material science, chemistry, and metallurgy will be essential in driving our clients' growing portfolio of projects globally.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Execution: Execute projects within the agreed scope, planning, and budget, ensuring timely completion and meeting technical requirements.
  2. Process Alignment: Guarantee alignment of processes and technological development, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.
  3. Operational Oversight: Assure that all process and operations-related aspects are covered, including technical requirements and capacity.
  4. Knowledge Transfer: Assure knowledge transfer into the operational organization, ensuring a smooth transition of project expertise.
  5. Work Package Management: Define and follow up the progress of all work packages required for project execution.
  6. Project Control: Assure control and follow-up of all project aspects through regular meetings and reporting.
  7. Risk Management: Timely detect roadblocks and take corrective action to overcome them, ensuring project success.
  8. Reporting: Report project progress to the program director, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  9. Business Case Management: Manage risk, change of scope, business case, and end-of-phase reporting, ensuring project alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation/Automation.
  2. Technical Experience: Technical experience and/or background in the execution of engineering projects, particularly in material science, chemistry, and metallurgy.
  3. Industrial Experience: Relevant experience and understanding in the execution of industrial projects in operational environments.
  4. Design Software: Knowledge of design software, such as AutoCad.
  5. EHS Standards: Knowledge of EHS standards, industry good practices, and legal requirements applicable to the specialty of focus.
  6. Language Skills: Competent written and verbal English and Spanish skills.
  7. Computer Literacy: Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package.
  8. Compliance: Must have the knowledge, experience, and skills to conduct tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
