**Job Description**
**Electrical Design Engineer - Innovation Specialist**
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer - Innovation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing preliminary designs of electrical and low voltage infrastructure for new locations, keeping records of changes, and amending drawings as required.
The ideal candidate will participate in preparing documentation for tender for electrical and low voltage infrastructure supply and installation, evaluate received proposals, and participate in commissioning of systems. They will also develop recommendations and provide estimates for the development and improvement of new or existing electrical systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare preliminary designs of electrical and low voltage infrastructure for new locations
- Keep records of changes and amend drawings as required
- Participate in preparing documentation for tender for electrical and low voltage infrastructure supply and installation
- Evaluate received proposals and participate in commissioning of systems
- Develop recommendations and provide estimates for the development and improvement of new or existing electrical systems
- Participate in developing electrical and low voltage infrastructure installation, transition to service, and maintenance policies for all Evolution locations
- Create work schedules for installation works, including critical parts of installation
- Participate in commissioning planning, test schedules, and elaboration
- Use AutoCAD or similar CAD software to draft designs
- Supervise installation works, cover RFI from contractors, and make design adjustments and schedules of work
- Participate in commissioning activities, test planning, and witnessing
- Participate in handover process-checking and accepting as-built documentation, packages documentation structuring, and grouping for handover
**Requirements**
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and design, with experience in preparing preliminary designs and participating in commissioning of systems. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
