Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Computing Solutions Specialist to join our thriving community and growing business as part of the EMEA Public Sector team.

This role will involve managing incoming leads in a timely manner across a wider geographical region, conducting discussions with prospects and existing customers to identify and qualify opportunities, and understanding customer pain points and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a college/university degree or equivalent experience, and technical interest with relevant experience in IT prospecting or sales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming leads in a timely manner
  • Conducting discussions with prospects and existing customers
  • Understanding customer pain points and technical requirements
  • Generating interest and providing vision of the portfolio of AWS solutions
  • Achieving quarterly qualification goals
  • Updating and maintaining customer information within Salesforce

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills and organizational skills, decisive and result-oriented, and prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

They will be target-oriented, ambitious, creative, and customer-focused, with experience working in a customer-facing role and a passion for technology and learning.

AWS certification is desirable, but not required.
