About the Role:
- We are looking for a talented QA engineer with deep knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and software testing principles to own software quality for our grocery domain.
- Your work will influence customers at Amazon scale across some of the most well-known worldwide brands, ensuring seamless grocery shopping experiences.
- You will define and execute comprehensive test strategies for medium to large projects, with a focus on automated execution, and dive deep into issues to root cause.
- Possessing expertise with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, you will have a thorough understanding of application development life-cycles, CI/CD, and testing in agile environments.
- Demonstrate strong ownership and autonomy in finding solutions when challenges arise, mentoring other engineers as needed.
- Experience with test/bug management tools, such as TestRail or JIRA, and large-scale application testing and automation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan test conditions, scripts, and data sets for adequate coverage and control.
- Apply software-testing techniques, including equivalence class partitioning, and software testing life cycles.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in one or more modern languages, including object-oriented design.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong background in manual and automation testing, with experience in UI and API automation testing using Selenium/SOAPUI.
Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on qualifications and location.
