About the RoleThis challenging position will require the successful candidate to be responsible for the complete design process for aeronautical Jigs and Tools.
- Assess client specifications and associated technical requirements.
- Perform preliminary design to build an offer for the client.
- Develop concept and design in adherence with requirements.
- Conduct pre-sizing of structures with material strength calculations.
- Execute and review detailed studies, defining acceptance tests.
This role also involves interacting with the engineering team, providing technical support, controlling implementation of technical requirements, verifying designs, and leading technical competencies in the team.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 10 years of experience in tooling & access platform design, including simple and complex designs and mechanical part manufacturing.
- Knowledge of construction steels, mechanical steels, and aluminum raw materials.
- Familiarity with calculation basis for mechanical dimensioning of structures.
- Experience with CATIA software is mandatory.
- A strong understanding of electrical motors and pneumatic effectors selection is a plus.
