We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Six Group Ag. As a key member of our Quality Risk Management Department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the key processes for managing our risks.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess relevant Key Risk Indicators (KRI) such as Market, Credit, and Liquidity risk, and report to Management Committees and Regulators.
- Ensure that risks are appropriately managed in compliance with established regulations, and foster a continued improvement of the Risk methodologies, procedures, and internal regulations.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations of results for decision-making bodies and supervisory authorities, and lead initiatives in the area of risk management.
- Collaborate closely with Quantitative Risk, Swiss Risk Management, and other SIX Clearing teams to ensure effective risk management.
- University degree in finance or equivalent, with a Master's degree in Risk Management or Financial Markets being highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the financial markets industry, preferably in market risk management, with experience in a CCP and IRS products being considered positively.
- Solid understanding of derivatives products and risk management concepts such as scenario analysis, Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, risk measures/greeks, and regulatory capital frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience with databases and programming skills being highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, critical, and conceptual thinking, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and goals-oriented skills.
- Good communication skills, both in English and Spanish, to clearly convey ideas to different stakeholders.
