About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Associate Creative Director to join our team at King. As a key player in the product team, you will be responsible for defining the creative direction for our top-tier titles and leading an exceptional art and UX team towards successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Creative Vision: Develop and articulate the creative direction for our biggest titles, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and goals of King.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of artists and UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Strategy Execution: Oversee the implementation of the creative strategy, ensuring high-quality execution across all visual and user experience aspects of the games.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Director and design peers to integrate creative concepts with game design and development.
  • Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team, exploring new creative trends and technologies to keep our games at the forefront of the industry.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting creative ideas and progress updates, and incorporating feedback into the creative process.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Proven experience in leading and mentoring creative teams, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Creative Vision: Strong sense of visual aesthetics and a deep understanding of UX principles, with the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling game experiences.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product and design teams to achieve a unified vision.
  • Innovation: Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends, with a track record of implementing cutting-edge creative solutions.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
