Job Title: Predoctoral Researcher at the Spatial Biotechnology Research Group

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Early Stage Researcher (PhD student) to join our team at the Spatial Biotechnology Research Group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their PhD thesis project on the development of experimental and computational approaches to study clonal behaviors in tumors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Investigate molecular mechanisms and cellular organization in tumors
  • Design and execute experiments to study clonal behaviors in tumors
  • Analyze molecular interactions and spatial arrangements of cells within tumors
  • Deconstruct spatial patterns in cells and tissues
  • Disseminate research findings through publications and presentations
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, biotechnology, biomedicine, or related fields
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and cell culture
  • Programming skills in Python and/or R
  • Strong commitment to scientific research and excellent academic record
  • Good working knowledge of English
