Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our EU Command Center Incident Response team at Amazon. As a key member of our global Command Center, you will be responsible for removing risk to our customers, resolving globally impacting barriers, and driving innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-severity response calls to ensure fast and accurate triage for our global remote support organization.
  • Direct engineers for resolution and lead root cause investigations to implement changes that avert future risk and drive process improvements for Global Operation teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our team's processes, tools, and services we offer to our customers.

About the Team

Our team is part of a global organization based in the US, EU, UK, and India, using a follow-the-sun model to manage customer impacting events from creation to service restoration. We strive to continually enhance our team's processes, tools, and services we offer to our customers, focusing on impact elimination for our customers and Mean Time to Restore services when a customer or customers are impacted.

Requirements

  • People and Team management experience with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Networking experience, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
  • Windows Server technologies, including AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM experience.
  • Technical support experience with corporate setting Windows, Mac, or Linux Operating systems support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent.
