Postdoctoral Researcher in Magnetically-Driven Micro-Nanotools for Healthcare Applications

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the Nanobiosystems Group at Cic Nanogune. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of micro- and nanodevices for navigation in biological-relevant media, as well as the implementation of these devices in small animal models.
Key Responsibilities- Design and fabrication of micro- and nanodevices using clean-room processes, including soft lithography, two-photon lithography, and microfluidics.
- Development of in-vivo mimicking microfluidic devices to optimize their performance.
- Implementation of devices in small animal models.
- Supporting PhD students in their research and proposal writing.
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Nanomedicine.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to scientific endeavors.
- Experience in medical microrobotics, particularly in the context of gynecological healthcare.
- Proficiency in clean-room processes, including soft lithography, two-photon lithography, and microfluidics.
- Qualifications: Animal handling, surface biofunctionalization, micro- and nanofabrication, magnetic microrobotics, and Python programming.
The position is expected to start on 01/07/2025 and will last for a total length of up to 12 months. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative research environment.
