The Front Desk Associate is a key member of the AWESOME HOTEL team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dining area, and creating a positive first impression for guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcoming guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Managing the seating of guests, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of reservations and walk-ins.
- Providing information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintaining the reservation system, updating it with real-time changes and cancellations, and confirming reservations with guests.
- Performing administrative tasks related to the F&B department, such as managing the guest waitlist and handling correspondence.
- Assisting with managing dining room and bar supplies, including ordering and stocking.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Communicating guest preferences and special requests to the service and kitchen staff.
- Coordinating with other F&B team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Providing support to event coordinators and helping with the execution of special events or functions.
- Processing guest payments and handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
- Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations specific to the F&B environment.
- Pleasing personality and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to type 35 wpm minimum.
- Strong phone skills and demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and punctual with a strong attendance history.
