At Mad About Furniture, we're seeking a seasoned retail professional to take on the role of Store Operations Manager. As the face of our business, you'll oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. Our 900 sq.m store offers a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to make a lasting impact in the retail industry.
About Us: With over 20 years of experience, Mad About Furniture has built a reputation as a trusted furniture store on the coast. We pride ourselves on offering a fair and supportive work environment, with full contracts and paid holiday for our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
- Lead a team of up to 10 colleagues, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Maintain accurate records, including accounts and logistics, to ensure smooth store operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of our staff and customers.
Requirements:
- Proven management experience in a retail environment, with a track record of success in leading small teams.
- Fluency in English is essential, as it's the primary language spoken at work and used in customer interactions.
