Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Airport Team Leader to join our award-winning Management Team at Jet2 Holidays. As an Airport Team Leader, you will play a vital part in leading a team of Airport Customer Helpers, who are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing our customers' holiday experience as they pass through the airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as One Team with internal and external stakeholders to ensure your team of Airport Customer Helpers deliver VIP industry-leading customer service to our all-important customers during their airport journey.
- Take responsibility for managing any flight disruption and customer escalations using our in-house digital systems.
- Be present daily in managing the very fast-paced and busy airport environment and customer journey throughout.
- Create and issue the monthly rosters alongside our UK-based planning team in line with our SLAs and budget.
- Host in-person and virtual weekly meetings, deliver training to new members of your team, and hold individual monthly 1-1 performance meetings with your team members.
Requirements
- Reporting to the Destination Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the airport.
- You will be confident in managing performance, possess an ability to deliver under pressure, support your team, have a positive and friendly attitude, be flexible, well-organized, and confident in IT to use in-house digital systems daily on a laptop.
- You will have a genuine passion for the airport experience and always ensure your team delivers outstanding customer service.
