The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research center seeking a highly skilled laboratory technician to support the execution of laboratory procedures in our High Content Genomics and Bioinformatics Unit.

Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive €20,300 annual gross salary, distributed in 12 payments, along with 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters. You will also receive training capsules by the company and be part of an excellent multidisciplinary research centre.


Job Description


As a laboratory technician, your responsibilities will include extraction and quality control of nucleic acids, next generation sequencing library preparation, processing of array hybridization experiments, and quantitative PCR assay setup.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will require a vocational training degree with a higher degree training cycle in laboratory technology and at least 2 years of experience in molecular biology. Proficiency in English language and office software is essential.
