We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our team at New York University. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Site Director and senior team on strategic long-term planning and overseeing all general operations, including finance, human resources, IT, space management, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- General Operations (35%): Supervise day-to-day operations, ensure a secure and inclusive environment, and oversee legal issues affecting NYU Madrid.
- Finance (30%): Prepare annual budget proposals, manage financial operations, and liaise with auditors and colleagues in New York.
- Strategic Management (15%): Collaborate with the Site Director and senior team to plan and implement policies, procedures, and strategic planning for NYU Madrid.
- Human Resources (10%): Collaborate with Global HR Business Partner and leadership in NY on HR processes, ensure employee documentation is maintained, and implement the NYU annual performance appraisal system.
- Facilities and Space Planning (10%): Provide oversight on facilities management, staffing, wellness, and security, and act as local liaison with NYUM's landlords.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience.
