Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Roadway Design Engineer to join our Linear Infrastructures team. The successful candidate will work on high-profile transportation projects, collaborating with a diverse and multicultural team based in Europe. Responsibilities include:
- Working autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects, supported by the Engineering Community (EC) within established procedures and practices related to linear infrastructures.
- Preparing design calculations or reports related to roadway elements, including geometric design.
- Performing roadway engineering work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
- Conducting quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.
- Providing guidance to entry-level engineers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record of working on roadway designs, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Experience with international regulations and standards, such as AASHTO, AREMA, Australian Codes, and British Standards.
- Advanced skills in geometric design and 3D modeling using software like Bentley Open Roads Designer.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
