We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address complex customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall technical relationship between Amazon and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging Machine Learning projects.
- Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs with regard to their usage of our services impacting the roadmap of Amazon AI/ML features.
- Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about running Machine Learning workloads on Amazon technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).
As a member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will be part of a team that builds and executes go-to-market plans that turn Amazon ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our teams include business development, specialist sales, and specialist solutions architecture, working together to provide customer-obsessed solutions that help people run their businesses more effectively.
Requirements- 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
- 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources
- 5+ years of Analytics, Database, AI/ML, Storage, etc.
- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
