**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Senior Consultant, Forensic Accounting and Investigations to join our team in Madrid. As part of our growth strategy, we aim to deliver high-quality investigations and forensic services to clients across Continental Europe and overseas.
The role requires technical excellence in conducting fraud, bribery, and corruption investigations, as well as commercial acumen and relationship-building skills to drive business growth. You will work with our Spain team and other service lines to achieve this goal.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Technical Delivery: Conduct internal investigations and forensics engagements with expertise, lead projects as a senior executive, and ensure engagement deliverables meet client expectations.
- Business Development & Growth: Build Control Risks' brand profile and credibility in the Spanish marketplace, maintain and grow existing client accounts, and develop relationships with new clients.
- Operational & Risk: Monitor and mitigate risk on engagements, consult with Director/Principal/Partner Group as needed, and maintain quality and risk files.
- Professional Development: Take ownership of personal development, motivate and mentor junior members, and provide coaching and training to achieve technical and operational excellence.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous professional experience within the Investigations/Forensics industry, with good experience working as a consultant/manager.
- Knowledge of fraud and corruption investigation techniques and procedures.
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
- Able to build relationships internally and externally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
- Solid knowledge of and experience in the Spanish regulatory framework relating to compliance and investigations.
We offer a competitively positioned compensation package and support hybrid working arrangements. Our estimated salary range for this position is €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
