At Allianz, we're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration and Solution Architect to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud infrastructure strategy and execution.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned cloud architect to utilize their technical expertise and creativity to design, build, and test cloud architecture that ensures seamless data transfer and storage.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business objectives, with a focus on data storage and security.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and security during large-scale data transfers.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, using prior knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud providers and third-party services that offer high-quality storage options within budget.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data transfer and storage, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, and provide guidance to cross-functional teams on using and accessing cloud-based data.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design principles.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or other major cloud computing services.
  • Strong cloud migration and data management skills, with a focus on data privacy and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Five years' experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as Microsoft Azure, are highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
