Job DescriptionWe are establishing a new team on Health Data Research that will collaborate closely with the INB/ELIXIR-ES unit. The selected candidates will have responsibility for ensuring the accessibility, usability, integrity, and security of biomedical data throughout its lifecycle in different projects.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in data management planning for research projects, including data storage, backup, and archiving strategies.
- Facilitate data sharing and collaboration among research teams.
- Implement and promote best practices in data stewardship and management, ensuring data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Education- MSc in data science, bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience in data stewardship and research data management.
- Familiarity with FAIR data principles and best practices in data quality management.
- Familiarity with data analysis with R, Python, or SQL.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
We offer a competitive salary of 45,000 EUR per year, a full-time contract (37.5 hours per week), a good working environment, flexible working hours, an extensive training plan, and private health insurance. The position will be located at BSC within the Life Sciences Department.
