The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cost management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Analysis and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, variances, and budget reports.
- Project Tracking and Reporting: Collaborate with construction and contracting teams to prepare and report progress curves and project tracking.
- Cash Flow Control: Manage project cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate cost checks and valuations.
- Cost Risk Analysis: Identify and mitigate potential cost risks, providing input into value engineering and negotiating final accounts.
- Contract Administration: Manage pre and post-contract duties, including cost estimates, procurement, and contract administration.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in EPC projects, with a strong background in cost management and project controls.
- Education: Project Management training would be a plus.
- Language Skills: Spanish and English (minimum B2 level required).
- Location: Madrid (Spain), with availability to travel and work at site.
