Job Title: Senior Assistant, Medical Affairs

BeiGene is seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Assistant, Medical Affairs to join our team in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our Medical Affairs team, you will provide administrative support to our local X-functional team, with a focus on EU Medical Affairs functional team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the local X-functional team, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
  • Organize mail, couriers, and support in organization of internal meetings and events with HCPs and partners.
  • Support in management relationships with vendors, service providers, and vendor on-boarding, contract management, and raising PO's.
  • Assist with travel arrangements for the leadership as back-up and support in management of local opex: raising PO, invoice management, and tracking of opex.
  • Assist in on-boarding plan for new hires within Medical Affairs team.
  • Support in external live and digital events (congresses, workshops, etc.) in cooperation with local team and/or agencies.
  • Support in preparation of medical materials according to needs of team.
  • Support in internal material approval and documentation process.
  • First point of contact for General Network enabling for EU medical team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience assisting high-level leaders; multiple disciplines a plus.
  • Previous experience in the pharma industry is an advantage.
  • Written and verbal fluency in local language(s) and English.
  • Preferably experience of procurement, finance, and event support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, can-do attitude, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multi-task, be structured, and meet compressed timelines.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic, and fast-changing complex environment.
  • Strong collaborative spirit is essential.
  • Accustomed to deliver high-quality results and strives for constant improvement.
Travel:

Limited travel expected. This is an office-based position with flexibility.
