Game Design Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Game Designer to work on a new industry-leading hybrid casual game.

This is an exciting opportunity for a gamer with previous experience creating and maintaining successful and fun mobile games to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Balancing and maintaining the game's economy and monetization strategies
  • Reviewing and analyzing existing game features and live ops events, and suggesting solutions based on specific KPIs and business challenges
  • Supporting existing live ops events and creating new ones to engage the game's audience
  • Working closely with product owners to define requirements and roadmaps
  • Communicating and prioritizing game design to development teams and relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitating the production process and being involved in critical review milestones
  • Coordinating with artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure smooth integration of design elements into the game engine
  • Leading and balancing game KPIs based on data analytics and market trend decisions
  • Collaborating with the design team to create and implement engaging game content that aligns with the overall narrative and gameplay objectives
  • Participating in playtesting sessions, gathering and analyzing feedback to iterate on and improve game features and mechanics
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of game design experience in a mobile F2P studio or gaming company, preferably with a focus on casual or hybrid casual games
  • A proven history of managing complex design projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of game design principles, including mechanics & systems, economy design, level design, monetization, and live ops
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Enjoy challenges and problem-solving
  • Immersed in the gaming world, know the market and current trends
  • Positive and self-driven, with the ability to be collaborative in a team environment
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, create, and implement game concepts using various tools and technology
  • Excellent creative, analytical, and organizational skills with a proven ability to write, communicate, and maintain detailed design documentation throughout
  • Broad knowledge of games; passion for hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core mobile games
  • Proficiency in Unity - an advantage
