About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother and Baby Unit at Touro Infirmary. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of new mothers and their babies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and education.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current nursing knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
