Job Description

As a seasoned Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Finance team in Barcelona. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of financial operations for Spain, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with European regulations.
  • Management of accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and reporting.
  • Integration of newly acquired companies into the organization's financial framework, aligning accounting processes with the company's financial standards.
  • Collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams to enhance financial controls, streamline operations, and support strategic decision-making.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Background in product distribution, hospitality, or F&B industries.
  • Strong understanding of Spanish accounting regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience migrating accounting systems would be a strong asset.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments and with external partners.
