About the Role

This position is with ABB, an inclusive employer and a member of Mygwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. As a Technical Sales Support Specialist for Wind Services, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Renewables Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine costs and prepare final documentation for wind turbine converter service activities.
  • Support the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare and support in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements.
  • Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through information from the general market and the Sales organization.
  • Define costs for the proposed solution and communicate it to the Sales organization.
  • Follow up on opportunities together with the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with the global service excellence centers in the continuous development of new services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Technical degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or Professional Module (FP2).
  • 2 years of experience in the wind energy market.
  • Experience in technical or sales aspects of design, commissioning, or maintenance of electrical systems of wind turbines.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives technology and industrial communications.
  • Fluent in Spanish and good command of English, both written and spoken.
