Virtualization Support Specialist

We are seeking an expert Virtualization Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of virtualization technologies like VMware and Microsoft SQL Server.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of engineers and scientists who work on advanced projects. You will be responsible for providing technical support to this team, troubleshooting technical issues related to virtualization, databases, and system performance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide clear, efficient support. Additionally, you will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global support team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in VMware or Microsoft SQL Server, with experience in both being a plus. They will also have advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal) due to the international nature of the project.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support for virtualization systems (VMware) and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to virtualization, databases, and system performance
  • Offering efficient and effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability
  • Working independently and collaboratively as part of a global support team
  • Providing timely and clear communication in English to team members across various international locations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in VMware or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to provide clear, efficient support
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with a diverse team
  • Advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
  • A background in supporting engineers or scientists in technical projects is a plus
