Key Responsibilities:
- **Business Planning:**
- Assist in the development and implementation of business plans to meet company objectives.
- Contribute to the creation of management information statistics and reports to support business planning.
- **Risk Management:**
- Conduct research and prepare reports to support the underwriting team in assessing and managing insurance risks.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- **Administrative Support:**
- Provide administrative support to the underwriting team, including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance policies and claims.
- **Communication:**
- Develop and maintain effective communication with colleagues, customers, and brokers to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery.
Requirements:
- **Experience:**
- Previous experience in an underwriting assistant role or similar position.
- **Skills:**
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Access.
- **Education:**
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
