As a Linux Server Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our database and integration services platform. This includes installing, upgrading, and administering the platform and its logical and physical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and administer the platform and its logical and physical requirements.
  • Provide technical support and maintain consistent configuration, implementation, operation, and support of a single Application Services platform.
  • Comply with OLAs and Quality/Validation requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Linux Server administration.
  • 2 years working with large infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based knowledge in design and deployment of Linux architecture.
  • Migrating process support.
  • Global patching process support.
  • Experience working on migrations of Red Hat, Solaris, and other operating systems.
  • Monitoring systems and network management experience with HP-UX and NNM.
  • Configuring Unix/Linux SAN disks, volume, and file system management for virtual servers.
  • Creating or modifying cluster Unix/Linux configurations.
  • Updating software depots or satellite channels.
  • Experience changing kernel parameters.
