Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious individual to support its EU Public Policy team in Madrid. As a Public Policy Manager Intern, you will be responsible for monitoring, researching, and analyzing policy issues across the EU. Your tasks will include scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policymakers and other stakeholders, as well as supporting the Public Policy team in working with Amazon's business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.

The internship position is based in Madrid and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the chance to work on various projects, including organizing public policy events and coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond. Additionally, you will have access to unlimited online training on project management, personal brand, communication skills, and more.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of policy issues and be able to communicate effectively across functional teams. You should also be able to prioritize your time, support multiple projects, and see things through to the end. If you are a recent graduate in Law, Politics, Social Sciences, or related studies, and are fluent in English and Spanish, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the Public Policy team in monitoring, researching, and analyzing policy issues across the EU.
  • Assisting with scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policymakers and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Public Policy team in working with Amazon's business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.
  • Organizing public policy events.
  • Coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond.

Requirements:

  • University education as a recent graduate in Law, Politics, Social Sciences, or related studies (BA/BS required).
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to prioritize your time, support multiple projects, and see things through to the end.
